Đây là những từ mà bạn cần nè:

1. Do you work or are you a student?

I run my own business actually … I have an online business selling cosmetics … I set up the business 5 years ago and I’m really enjoying working for myself …

2. What is your ideal job?

I don’t think I’d enjoy working for a big company … I think I’d like to go it alone and be self-employed … I’m not sure what area of business it would be but I think I’d enjoy the process of drawing up a business plan and seeing if I could be successful …

3.  Is your town a nice place to live?

It’s OK … the main problem we have is our local high street … it used to be a busy centre but lots of shops have gone bust … it must be very difficult to make a profit when you have huge supermarkets in the area and a lot haven’t been able to survive with such cut-throat competition …

NOTE:

- to go it alone: to start your own business

- to draw up a business plan: to write a plan for a new business

- to go bust: when a business is forced to close because it is unsuccessful

- cut throat competition: when one company lowers its prices, forcing other companies to do the same, sometimes to a point where business becomes unprofitable

Describe a business you know that you admire. You should say

- what this business is

- what the business sells

- how long you have known about the business

- and say why you like it so much.

nhưng lúc trước học mình chỉ take note có vài cụm từ hà, giờ đánh lên cho bà con xem, chứ không có bài mẫu hoàn chỉnh.

- niche business: a business that serves a small, particular market

- went into business with a local community shop

- a lifestyle business:  a business that is set up to bring in a sufficient income and no more

- to take on employees

- I'm happy earning a living doing the thing I love.

- has a web presence: to have a website or social  media profile that showcases your business

- to raise the company profile:  to make more people aware of a business

- balance the books: to not spend more money than you are earning

- the cash flow: the money coming in and going out of a business

Bạn chọn sao cũng được, miễn là có cái để nói. Đây là vài gợi ý cho bạn:

- Chọn cái mà bạn biết.

Ví dụ: nếu bạn thích mua quần áo, hãy nói là bạn thích mở 1 shop quần áo, nếu bạn đam mê bóng đá, hãy nói là bạn muốn làm chủ 1 câu lạc bộ bóng đá nào đó.

- Lên mạng. Tìm kiếm vài trang web về các công ty mà bạn thích, ghi lại những cái họ đang làm và tại sao họ thành công như vậy.

- Tưởng tượng ra 1 ngày bạn được tuyển dụng vào 1 công ty thuộc lĩnh vực bạn thích, bạn hãy kể buổi sáng bạn làm gì, buổi trưa, buổi chiều, buổi tối bạn làm gì.

- KỂ  CHUYỆN là 1 cách tuyệt vời để trả lời đấy các bạn.

I really wanted to put up a milling business in my hometown. It would be of great help to the village people since the nearest mill house is about 20 kilometers away.

I know some things about the business because my parents owns one and when I was still at a young age they often tag me along to help out during school holidays.

The mill house that I am going to erect would be a very productive one. I will be going to utilize the latest gadget and machinery that would enhance the produce that the farmers will have. It will be different from the traditional machine wherein not all of the kernel or the grain will be milled . The new machine will give out more produce at a lesser time.

I know that I will enjoy this business because it is not a work for me but fun. I will surely go there on a daily basis, examining the machinery, interacting with the local people, and be able to learn and share from them.

Hi every body,

If ever I was asked a question about business, could I answer it with a bit of humour?

For example, If I had given an oppurtunity to put my own venture, if I shouldn't be involved in any "monkey business." To be honest, I can't concentrate and get focus on what I'm without blending my talk with a little humour. Also, I don't care whether my joke is hilarious or not.
